The Abbey Inn is currently searching for a Public Area/ Houseperson to assist in creating a world class experience for its guests.
One of the most important positions at a hotel, the room attendant will ensure the cleanliness of the property while being a positive member of the Abbey team.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure that rooms and public areas are cleaned and sanitized to company-mandated standards Ensure that checklists are followed in order to complete daily cleaning tasks Understands and follows all safety and security procedures as mandated by the hotel Maintain knowledge of hotel property, hotel staff, hotel services, hotel service hours of operation, and hotel surroundings (i.
e.
mall, restaurants) Ensures that room attendants are stocked with linen, towels, soap, tissues, drinking glasses, etc.
Assists in laundry when assigned Identify items that guests have left behind and report items utilizing hotel's lost and found procedure.
Other duties as assigned EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High School Diploma/GED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Ability to multi-task Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing Team player Ability to exceed expectations of guests Knowledge of cleanliness standards Revival Hotels is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
