Director of Planning

Description Hudson River HealthCare provides the highest quality comprehensive primary, preventive, and behavioral health services to all who seek it, regardless of insurance status and ability to pay, especially for the underserved and vulnerable. Hudson River Health Center ("HRHCare") a Federally Qualified, Non-For-Profit Health Center serving communities in Suffolk County. HRHCare is currently seeking the following healthcare professional to join our team at our Executive office in Peekskill. We currently have the need for a full-time Director of Planning. The Director of Planning will provide overall leadership and coordination for the development of the Consortium. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Establishes and maintains effective relationships with, and gains the confidence and cooperation of, Consortium partners and Steering Committee members on Substance abuse use issues Articulates concerns or position on extremely sensitive issues both in written and oral presentation. Develops, coordinates and monitors grant activities to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Conducts ongoing evaluation of process and outcomes indicators. Reviews and analyzes data concerning substance abuse program needs to inform strategic planning efforts and accomplish program objectives. Maintain liaison with various Sullivan County and other stakeholders, as necessary. Performs related duties such as attending meetings and conferences, maintaining records and preparing reports. Responsible for HRSA financial and programmatic reporting requirements related to grant. Created and implements presentations and reports regarding the Consortium progress. Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelor's Degree Preferred Education Requirement Master's Degree in Public Health and/ or related field(s) Minimum Related Work Experience: 5-8 years Other Minimum Specialized Skills & Knowledge Requirement: Must possess a valid NYS Driver's License and have experience in primary care and knowledge of behavioral health and substance abuse services.  Qualified candidate must possess experience in strategic planning, public policy and organizational governance structures with knowledge of SUDs, particularly OUD.  Candidate must possess sensitivity to and a non-judgmental attitude towards the complex needs and significant issues often affecting those with substance abuse disorders. Critical Skills: Leadership and management, organization (prioritizing and workflow), communications (verbal and written), data gathering and analysis We are a network of 30 community and migrant health centers located in Peekskill, Beacon, Poughkeepsie,  Amenia, Dover Plains, Pine Plains, New Paltz, Goshen, Greenport, Haverstraw, Monticello, Middletown, Nyack, Suffolk County, Walden and Yonkers. Annually, we serve over 185,000 patients through well over 500,000 visits throughout a nine county region in New York State. 11-18-2018

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
